All the lamps us e a standard E27 screw fitting so any bulb of this type will work (up to a Max 40W)

I recommend using LED bulbs as there is so much choice and energy use is kept to a minimum.

The actual choice of bulb is very subjective so there are no rules as to what looks best (I'm happy to give an opinion if asked). I have a small selection of bulbs available and can supply these with the lamps. If you prefer to source your own lamps, please feel free to do that, there are hundreds of different styles.
